About

I’m Callum, based in Newport, South Wales. I run Cosgrove UAV Services, providing practical drone services focused on clarity, safety and real-world usefulness.

I work directly with each client and handle every job personally – from planning through to delivery – taking the time to understand what’s actually needed and delivering results that are easy to use.

A straightforward approach

Cosgrove UAV Services was built around a simple idea: provide clear, reliable drone outputs that actually help people make decisions.

I focus on working with clients who value clarity and practicality – whether that’s inspecting a roof, planning changes to a site, or communicating progress visually. Every project is approached with care, planning and attention to detail, rather than rushing for volume.

Because I work independently, clients deal with the same person from the first conversation through to delivery. That keeps things simple, avoids miscommunication, and ensures the final outputs match what was discussed.

What you can expect

  • Clear communication from start to finish
  • A planned, safety-first approach on site
  • Deliverables that are easy to review and use
  • A professional, straightforward working relationship

Background & Experience

My background is in industrial and commercial environments, where safety, planning and clear communication matter. That experience shapes how I approach drone work — measured, prepared and focused on delivering something genuinely useful.

I’ve built Cosgrove UAV Services steadily, learning through hands-on work and real projects rather than shortcuts. That means understanding sites properly, planning each job carefully, and delivering outputs that clients can actually use with confidence.

I’m not a surveyor or engineer, and I don’t present myself as one. My role is to provide clear, accurate visual data that supports inspections, planning and decision-making alongside other professionals when required.

Compliance & Standards

All work is carried out in line with current UK aviation regulations and appropriate commercial insurance. Operations are planned with safety, site context and risk management in mind, ensuring drone use is suitable for the task and environment.

  • Appropriately qualified and authorised for commercial drone operations
  • Fully insured for commercial drone use
  • Risk assessments and flight planning completed for each job
  • Equipment selected based on the task, site and required outputs
